How to lower your heating bills
In this day and age when everything is going up in price, you can help conserve energy and save money on your home heating bills. We can offer you some money saving tips in order to help you survive the winter

Tip # 1: Make sure that your windows and doors are properly sealed. A lot of time, we do not check or even seem to notice if the windows have drafts or the doors are letting in cold air. You could save so much money by simply, sealing and weatherproofing your windows and doors.

Tip # 2: Many people leave the heat on when they are at work. This is not a bad idea if you have pets but lower the heat to a reasonable number. If you keep the heat on 73 when you are at home, then while you are at work lower the heat to 68. This will save you a lot of money in the long run.

Tip # 3: Dress warmly when you are home, some people walk around in short sleeves because the home is warm because of the heat. Try lowering the heat a degree or two and dress appropriately.

Tip # 4: If you have a home where you only use certain room of the home, try using space heaters. This will save you money on the heating bill. Buy a really good model, one that is good on electricity as well. Lower the heat to as low as you can tolerate and then use space heaters in the rooms that you are using.

Tip # 5: Before you go to bed at night, lower the heat and use a better and heavier blanket. You will sleep better knowing the heating bill will not cost you your first born child.
